Waitlist

If your child is under the age of 2 years, or you are seeking to begin care in the future, you can join our waitlist. Our system generates a reminder email every 3 months for families to update their preference to either stay or be removed from the waitlist.

As we are a small centre of only 20 children per day, spaces are limited so we strongly encourage families to join our waitlist as soon as possible.

Enrolment

We understand time is precious for families and to make the process as simple and convenient for you as possible, our enrolment process is completed online.
The management team will confirm your child’s place via email with an official offer of enrolment and provide a link to complete the relevant documentation.

Before care can begin, we require the following documentation:

  • A completed Enrolment Form.
  • Your child’s birth certificate.
  • Your child’s Medicare number (if available) and Dr’s/Medical Professional details and contact.
  • Medical Action Plan (Allergies, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, FPIES, Diabetes, Epilepsy).
  • Certified copies of any court order, parenting orders or parenting plans.
  • An immunisation history statement from the Australian Immunisation Register.
  • A signed Complying Written Agreement (CWA) between yourself & Kind Early Learning (If you are CCS Approved).

Any information provided as part of the enrolment process is strictly confidential and is never revealed to people or organisations outside of Kind Early Learning without written parental permission. Parents may request to view all records relating to their child at any time.

Orientation

An orientation will be offered before your child begins care with us.
Orientations will go for approx. 30-45minutes and are an opportunity for families and the child to meet the educators, see our learning environments and engage with peers. This time also allows educators to get to know the child, engaging in conversations about their family structure, culture, traditions, routines, likes & dislikes, strengths, goal setting and any further information that may help the child adjust and settle into our care environment. We warmly encourage families to ask as many questions as they need. We understand that transitioning your child into care requires careful thought and consideration and can cause some anxiety. We hope by being open, honest and providing as much valuable information as we can, will help alleviate some undesired feelings.

Fees

Daily Fee is $145.00 per child, per day.
  • Upon enrolment, a bond consisting of two (2) weeks full fees of days enrolled is required to be paid on enrolment to hold your child’s position at Kind Early Learning. This will need to be paid in full prior to your child commencing. (The bond payment is held against your account until care is ceased. It will be refunded into your nominated direct debit account once final payment has cleared (including CCS paid) and no amount is outstanding when your child leaves Kind Early Learning).
  • Fees are deducted via Direct Debit on a Friday for that week of care.
  • If you receive Child Care Subsidy (CCS), this is paid directly to Kind Early Learning and you will be directly debited the gap fee amount (the gap fee is based on an estimated CCS amount. Centrelink will pay the actual amount the week after, meaning any discrepancies will be payable in the next direct debit).

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

We are an approved Child Care Subsidy Service!
If you wish to claim CCS, the primary caregiver is responsible for registering with Centrelink/Services Australia through MyGov online services and complete an assessment to confirm eligibility to receive CCS.
Some basic requirements must be satisfied to be eligible to receive CCS for a child and a range of factors dictate CCS amount.
These may include:
  • The age of the child • The child meeting immunisation requirements
  • The individual, or their partner, meet the residency requirements
  • Income
  • Activity and employment status
  • Childcare providers hourly rate (fees)
In addition, to be eligible for Child Care Subsidy, the individual must be liable to pay for care provided, the care must be delivered in Australia by an approved childcare provider, and not be part of a compulsory education program.
Families are responsible for keeping their details on MyGov current and contact Centrelink directly if they wish to dispute assessments or discuss changes in their circumstances that may affect CCS entitlements.
All families are encouraged to contact Centrelink on 136 150 or go to  Child Care Subsidy – Services Australia  to seek further information.
Upon enrolment, please speak to management if you require any further information regarding Child Care Subsidy.

What To Bring

What to pack in your child’s bag

  • 2-3 x clothes – Please dress your child for play and aligned with SunSmart recommendations (covered shoulders). Your child may get messy while involved in play as our curriculum supports ‘hands on learning’ in experiences such as arts, gardening, water and mud play.
  • Nappies and/or sufficient amount of spare underwear if toilet training.
  • Lunch Box – Sufficient snacks and meal for the day, aligned with our Healthy Eating Policy which will be sent to you separately at the time of enrolment.
  • Water Bottle
  • Bedding – including sheet (cot size) & blanket.
  • Hat – bucket or broad brim
  • Wet Bag – As we promote sustainable processes within our centre, we highly encourage families to bring a wet bag for us to place their child’s wet or soiled clothes/belongings in to take home.
  • Label belongings – To assist us with returning your child’s items, we kindly ask you label their clothing & belongings where possible.

We provide baby wipes and sunscreen here at the centre. If your child has sensitive skin or you prefer to use a particular brand, please pack these for your child to use and advise management on enrolment.
